Our U13’s must be congratulated for their valiant efforts in the final of the Shropshire Schools and Colleges Football Association County Cup against Thomas Telford on Tuesday 9th April at Shifnal Town FC. Despite HTA taking the lead in the first few minutes of the game, Thomas Telford fought back with three goals before half-time. The final score of 5-1 was no reflection on the standard of play by HTA, who despite being behind, kept up a very fast and challenging pace throughout the game with some great attempts at goal and some incredible saves. Their sportsmanship was a credit to the school and they should be very proud of themselves. Congratulations to Thomas Telford on their tenth successive title.
