High Performance Learning at Holy Trinity

We are a High Performance Learning (HPL) Pathway school and as such use the HPL framework as the underpinning pedagogy of our school.

The framework is based on the findings of neuroscience which identify how ‘high performing learners’ learn and think. The result are 20 Advanced Cognitive Performance Characteristics (ACPs) and 10 Values, Attitudes and Attributes (VAAs) which we use in planning and delivering learning. All students will practice these skills at every opportunity at Holy Trinity, so getting a head start and understanding what they are before you join us will be fantastic. Please take a look at the ACPs and VAAs and discuss them at home. Which are students most confident in? Which ones need more work?
