Steubenville University Visit

On Monday 5th June HTA students meet and shared faith stories with students from Steubenville University, Ohio.

The energy, enthusiasm and witness of the visitors was inspiring and engaging.

The group of American students have embarked on a mission to England in the hope of helping young Christians grow more excited about their faith.

The six theology students from the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, are spending two months in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Shrewsbury at the invitation of Bishop Mark Davies.

The bishop has dedicated 2017 as a “Year for Mission” within the diocese and the visit by the students is part of the activities for the period.

Amongst the activities in school the 6 visiting students gave personal testimonies and led groups of HTA students in moments of prayer and reflection.

The group will stay in the diocese until July 29 visiting parishes, schools and university chaplaincies.
