Lay Chaplaincy Volunteer

Would you like to be part of a team making a real difference in a local Secondary School?

Could you be available a day a week, or once a fortnight at lunchtime, and on other occasions (such as Parent’s Evenings) to be a positive presence in the School, available to talk to both students and staff, build friendships and be an encouragement?

We are looking for practising Christians who will relate well within a Secondary School Community to fulfil this role.

Telford Christians Together, the Anglican Diocese of Lichfield and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Shrewsbury are working in partnership with Holy Trinity Academy to introduce Lay Chaplains. This role fits perfectly with the ethos of the School and will play a vital role in helping the School continue to develop in its mission.
