MP Visit to Holy Trinity Academy

On Friday the 31st March 2017, Holy Trinity Academy welcomed Lucy Allan MP through its doors. Our local MP visited the Academy for the first time since its opening just less than two years ago and it was a pleasure to meet with her and discuss the fantastic progress that the Academy has made since its start. Sixth Formers Sean Radburn and Leah Booth gave Lucy Allan MP a guided tour of the Academy, taking her to see pupils learning and facilities that our pupils have access to. A group of pupils from Years 8 to 12 then met with Lucy Allan MP to ask her questions about her role as the Member of Parliament for Telford. They quizzed her over local, national and international issues and Lucy Allan MP including how to raise the profile of Telford in the House of Commons, addressing the key issues in Telford and how as a country we should react and deal with the recent events in London. Lucy Allan MP was a delight to meet and very much enjoyed her time here at the Academy meeting the pupils.
