Young Enterprise get down to Business

A group of Y10 students have been participating in the national Young Enterprise Company Programme, setting up their own company ‘Anonymous’ selling merchandise to raise the profile of the ‘#ditchthelabel’ campaign, in addition to providing quality garments for their teenage target market. The enterprise itself was self-financing so the group undertook fund raising activities (Bake Sales, a stall at Christmas Fair and selling shares etc.). They designed the range, sourced a manufacturer and produced promotional material including an Instagram page – @anonymousattire. The group have taken part in two Saturday trade fairs, presented their ideas to a team of judges and are now producing a company report. On Thursday 21st March they conquered their nerves and delivered a credible presentation, along with 12 other Young Enterprise companies at an event held at Wolverhampton University (Telford Campus). They impressed the judges, engaged their audience and should all be tremendously proud of their hard work and participation, not just at this event but throughout the programme overall.
