In keeping with the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s long tradition of reaching out to communities and musicians of all ages and abilities, the LEAP (Learning and Participation) programme came to Telford yesterday where HTA musicians were able to take part in workshops and a concert held at Old Park Primary School.  The programme was delivered by professional music tutors, helping to further develop our students’ musical skills and hopefully enlightening them on progression routes into Conservatoire education.  Following their workshops and final ensemble performance, the students were treated to a live performance, by 20 professional musicians, of music by the likes of Purcell, ELO and Adele.
