Knife Angel Artwork Competition

To mark Telford and Wrekin hosting the ‘Knife Angel’ sculpture at Southwater during the month of March, they, in conjunction with West Mercia Police and the Steer Clear Programme are launching an artwork competition for schools. Year 7 to 11 pupils are invited to submit artwork to be used in promotional materials and the Steer Clear website. The Steer Clear programme was launched a year ago to engage with school age children who they believe are most vulnerable to being involved in knife crime and the harm associated with it. This engagement contributes to keeping young people safe from knife crime. This competition is looking for artwork that illustrates Compassion, Community and Courage. It must be drawn by hand and submitted on plain A4 sized paper with the student’s name written on the back. All entries are to be handed in to Mrs Quye by no later than Friday 7th February.
