Dear Parents/Carers,
Homework Club: Monday 13th September 2021 – Friday 22nd October 2021
I am delighted to be able to inform you that our homework club will be starting on
Monday 13th September 2021.
The homework club will run between 2.40pm and 4.40pm Monday to Thursday, and 2.40pm to 3.40pm Friday only. During this time your child will have full access to the computers and printers at the school to aid their learning. I must re-iterate that this a study session.
The sessions will be supervised by a member of the school leadership team and will be assisted by sixth form students who will be on hand to provide help and support to all students with their work.
If there any issues with any students with regards to behaviour, attendance or a poor work ethic then they will not be allowed to attend homework club and parents will be informed of this. Additionally the homework club is not provided as a drop in service and must be booked by 8.00am on the day online via ParentPay.
It is vitally important that all students sign in at the LRC area to show they are on site after 2.40pm. Consequently, any student who is booked into homework club and then chooses to leave school instead of staying on site will have their place removed. As you will appreciate this is for safeguarding reasons.
The cost for the homework clubs are as follows:-
- 1 hour daily 2.40pm to 3.40pm @ £3.00 per session – Monday to Friday
- 2 hour daily 2.40pm to 4.40pm @ £6.00 per session – Monday to Thursday only
- All payments are non-refundable.
Any student who is in receipt of pupil premium can attend the club without charge but must still book their place online.
All monies must be paid online via parent pay via your usual log in. All sessions booked must be paid for, even if the child does not attend.
