The Local Labour Market Experience workshops provide our students with informative and practical taster sessions for key employment sectors –
- Transport, Logistics and Supply Chains
- Creative and Digital
- Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering and Construction
- Business and Finance
Students were guided through a practical activity designed to give them a flavour of each industry sector and to introduce them to the skills required to be successful within the industry.
They were able to put new skills to the test, including communication, teamwork, initiative, problem solving, creativity, leadership etc.,
Our Aspire to Higher Education programme in association with the Inspirational Learning Group delivered this virtual experience to our Year 9 and 10 students with numerous online activities throughout the day.
The aim was to provide guidance and practical support to help our students make informed and ambitious decisions about higher education and their future.
