Third question is from a choice of two
Paper 2: 1 hour 45 minutes 40% of total mark
- 64 marks on paper (32 for period study and 32 for British depth study)
- Topics: Superpower relations and the Cold War, 1941-91Early Elizabethan England, 1558-88
- Assessment:
– Section A: Cold War
Two compulsory questions on knowledge and understanding
Third question is from a choice of two out of three parts
– Section B: Early Elizabethan England
A single three part question on knowledge and understanding, first two parts are compulsory, third part there is a choice of one from two
Paper 3: 1 hour and 20 minutes 30% of total mark
- 52 marks on paper
- Topic: Weimar and Nazi Germany, 1918-39.
- Assessment
– Section A: Germany
A source based question and a knowledge and understanding question.
Section B:
A four part question based on two sources and two interpretations.
