Catch up Premium Report 2016-17

Year 7 Literacy and Numeracy Catch-up Funding

The literacy and numeracy catch-up premium gives schools additional funding to support year 7 pupils who did not achieve the expected standard in reading or maths at the end of key stage 2. This is any students who did not achieve the expected standardised score of 100 for reading and mathematics.

2016/17

For 2016/2017 Holy Trinity Academy received £18,103.

This money was used to support the following interventions:

  • Lexia programme to support reading
  • 123 Maths to support mathematics
  • Establishment of tutor reading programme

Proposed Spending 2017-18

For 2017-2018 Holy Trinity Academy received £18,586.
This money will be used to support the following interventions:

  • Lexia programme to support reading
  • 123 Maths to support mathematics
  • KS2 QLA to identify areas for development and interventions at an individual, class and cohort level.
  • Small group intervention sessions
